My client was experiencing the perfect storm: declining conversion rates, client demand for a mobile optimized offering, and client demand for WCAG AA accessibility. The client did not have internal UX design resources, so, as product owner, I developed product requirements that were driven by customer data, technical needs for SEO and WCAG AA.
The solution met client demands, opened doors to new clients, addressed needs of the customers, and delivered business results that improved conversion rate, average order value and customer satisfaction.
A new Google algorithm wiped out revenue from organic search - a significant revenue stream for my client. I was tasked with resolving the issued was provided immediate dotted line management of the development team. After using Google Search Central and conducting a methodical point by point audit, a rapid development cycle was initiated. After our remediation was released the client. was quickly back in business mitigating multi-million dollar revenue decline. This also acted as an A/B/C test to see how much volume diverted to paid campaigns and back to organic search which helped demonstrate the amount of overlap between paid & organic search volume.

After collaboration with finance, development and marketing stakeholders, a solution was put in place that enabled real time monitoring of ROI as well as revenue coding all the way to the financial reporting system for attribution along with other marketing sources.
